We get this question all the time..."What is GCC?" "What does it stand for?" "What does it mean?". So here it is. Here's the secret. GCC stands for Gourmet Cooking Club. We started this club to challenge us as cooks, to enhance our degree of cooking,to cause us to try new things and to perserve the decadence of good food. It's a club made up of eight girls where we get together once a month to enjoy a gourmet dinner. Each of us has to host a month and develop a menu with certain criterias and rules. We are not professional chefs by any stretch of the imagination but enjoy cooking and creating dishes that to us are gourmet. As busy housewives we don't always have time in our day to cook elaborate meals so this club gives us the opportunity for that, an outlet to show off a creative side that otherwise would be lost. This blog was created to journal our experiences in the kitchen as we get ready to start our third year of GCC and document our recipes! We hope you enjoy reading our blog and testing our recipes!!
